Airbnb Makes Service More Accesible to People with Disabilities

Last year, Airbnb started designing features with a goal of making their website  more inclusive for community members with disabilities. They found out that guests weren’t getting the information they needed to find the right homes, nor the confidence that the home they selected would actually be accessible for them.

In collaboration with the community, they identified a set of features that can make a home a better fit for people with disabilities. These features include step-free entry to rooms, entryways that are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, and more.

By looking into the future and expanding their vistas, they improving the lives of clients and  hosts.
